Tickets for Buckle Up Music Festival

Exciting news! This year’s festival will be using RFID-enabled wristbands and cashless payment technology to enhance your festival-going experience, all courtesy of McDonalds!

Your personalized festival wristband will be mailed to you beginning July 2016. This wristband is your ticket to get into Buckle Up faster and will also be used as your digital wallet to make purchases at the festival – all with a simple tap of your wristband!

This means you don’t have to worry about walking around the festival with your wallet or fumbling for change; instead, enjoy fast, convenient and secure transactions at all food vendors, beer gardens, and merchandise tents on-site using your high-tech, RFID-enabled wristband.

Set your calendar! Registration of your cashless wristband begins two weeks prior to the event date.

Upon registration of your wristband, you’ll be able to “top-up” and load pre-paid credit into your cashless account before you arrive at the festival – this will save you loads of time at the event, so you can go straight to partying at Buckle Up!

Once your account is topped-up, you’re ready to make purchases on-site by simply tapping your wristband to one of the payment points at the vendor stands. The amount will automatically be deducted from your account – it’s quick and easy! All top-up funds added to your account from your credit or debit card will be automatically refunded to your account when the festival ends – so it’s worry-free!

New to the festival this year is a limited number of two-day Ultimate VIP ticket packages, which are on sale now for $850.00 and include all above VIP amenities plus:

  • Access to side stage viewing platform on both main stages (at bands discretion)
  • 4 drink tickets per day
  • Parking pass for all three days of the festival

Save time and purchase tickets online prior to the festival or purchase tickets at the gate. Ticket box office opens at 1 p.m. each day of the festival.

Refunds or exchanges are not allowed after a ticket is purchased. Tickets will be available for purchase at the gates, but ticketing fees will still apply. WHEN YOU BUY A MULTI-DAY TICKET, one wristband is issued for the weekend and cannot be used by another person.

Kids 6 and under are admitted free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. There is no limit to the number of kids per adult, however, free admissions are at the discretion of gate management, so please use your good judgment. Please note that only those wearing a VIP wristband can be in the VIP area. If you want your child to join you in VIP, you must purchase a VIP ticket for him or her. Kids 6 and under who enter the event site for free will not have access to the VIP area.

Ticket Donation Requests

Buckle Up Music Festival receives ticket donation requests from hundreds of organizations for fundraising events and charitable causes. We are able to help our community by granting a limited number of requests each year.

The Buckle Up Music Festival will consider ticket donation requests from 501(c)(3) organizations that serve the Greater Cincinnati Area via this online form. Due to the high volume of requests, we are sorry, but we cannot confirm receipt, provide the status of a request, or respond to declined requests.

If your donation request is approved, tickets will be sent via email or snail mail to the address provided. Tickets are usually sent within two weeks of the request. Lost, stolen, expired tickets are not eligible for replacement or exchange.

Please note: All ticket donation requests must be made via our online form by 5 p.m. EST Friday, July 22, 2016.
